This is our second time capturing this little family in their home in Colorado!

Last time we were here, baby Ava was only crawling. To see her walking and running all over the house was so fun and made for much different photos! We love in-home sessions. They allow us to capture the true essence of family life as it is, right now. Luckily, Mom Allison totally agrees with this, and even went so far as to make sure they were all wearing clothes that they usually wear every day, instead of getting dressed up! She said her favorite thing about our photo shoots is how she can look at the pictures and in an instant, be taken back to that exact moment in their lives.

I love this shot, which was a lucky hip shot of Dylan’s, as we were chatting before we started. A little bribing was going on for the kids to behave during the shoot 😛
