Our Spring Travels through Spain & Italy // Traveling Destination Wedding Photographer

This spring we had the great fortune of visiting Italy and Spain for a few weeks. We got insanely cheap tickets ($400 round trip from Phoenix to Barcelona – shout out to Dyl’s sister Lea for her insane ticket scoping skills!) and so even though we weren’t planning on going on this trip, we ended up booking it on a whim this past winter! Dylan’s brother, Mitch, lives in Spain and we took a road trip with him around the northern coast of Spain & the Basque Country.

A week after returning, we drove cross country from Arizona to Michigan with another close friend. April was quite the month! We hope you enjoy this mixture of iPhone and ‘real’ camera photos that tell our story 🙂

Rome, Italy

Gaztelugatxe, Basque Country

Florence, Italy

Madrid, Spain

Playa de las Catedrales, Spain

Road trip picnic.. Spanish style.

Bilbao, Spain

Santiago de Compostela, Spain

We took a day trip to visit Mitch’s friends in the coastal town of Noia.

Teaching our British hostel mates how to do Yooper accents.. definitely a highlight of the trip!

Barcelona, Spain

Sagrada Familia is progressing quite well!

We returned to Phoenix at the end of April, only to drive cross-country to MI for the summer one week later! Our friend Robert flew down to Phoenix to ride back with us. We hit up Arches, the Grand Canyon, Payson, Sedona, Monument Valley, and Fort Collins on the way.
